Eligible families with five or more members will find another GST Voucher, meaning they will be getting a total of 2.5 times their routine U-Save rebate.
MOF reported the strategy will help families offset a part of the utility accounts, decreasing their general household expenditures.
Households residing in a single – and – two-room HDB flats normally receive yearly U-Save rebates equivalent to around a few weeks of the typical utility bills.
Together with the one-off doubling, they will now appreciate rebates equivalent to six to eight weeks of the typical utility bills.
Individuals living in 3 – and – four-room flats generally receive support equivalent to about a couple of weeks of the utility bills. They can now get support that’s equivalent to two to four weeks of the utility bills.
With this month, families in a single – and two-room apartments will get $300, people in residing in three-room apartments $270, and people in four-room apartments will get $240. MOF noted that”families whose members possess more than 1 property aren’t eligible for the GST Voucher — U-Save”.
